2019 - the year that went by

Christmas is around the corner and 2020 is approaching.

In this post, we would like to wish all customers, business partners, sparring partners, family and friends a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Before we do this, we want to take you on a journey the past year at Meresalg Marketing.

Around this time in 2018, we shared the press release: With a new starting line-up 

This starting line-up resulted in us (Andreas Thomsen and Lau Christensen) was given the opportunity to continue running Meresalg Marketing. At the same time, we decided to cut the business to the bone and specialise exclusively in SEO (search engine optimisation), link building and affiliate marketing.

Specialising has been a win for us that has resulted in the best business year in the time Meresalg Marketing has been around.

In 2019, we have again collaborated with some interesting companies. These include Among other thingsCykelexperten A/S, Mikkelsens Ejendomskontor, Mogens Dahl Koncertsal, JC IMEX ApS, Tønder Erhvervsråd, TM Tønder A/S, Harald P/S and Gastrotools.

Internships

In 2019, we also had the pleasure of having 3 talented interns on board with us.

Employees

Again this year we have had Markus Tornefeldt on the team. Markus masters the 10-finger system like no other and is an incredibly important asset to our company. Good job Markus.

Likewise, we have just hired Kristoffer Mohr on a part-time position. Kristoffer started his internship with us in autumn 2019, but will continue with his bachelor's degree (HA general) in Aarhus this spring. Kristoffer has an excellent understanding of SEO and fulfils an important role in link building. Also good work to Kristoffer.

Investment

In 2019, there was also a surplus for an investment in wine.

We have long had a passion for wine and when we first met Magnus (founder of VINNU) at a wine tasting organised by the same Magnus, we quickly saw an interesting case. That's why we bought in as partners in August 2019.

Like Meresalg, we can already see that VINNU will deliver its best year ever in terms of revenue. This journey and development is also something we look forward to building on in 2020.

One of the first things we launched was the new website (www.vinnu.dk), as well as the film below from Restaurant Ø on Rømø.

Presentation

Furthermore, in collaboration with Tønder Business Council, Business Young and Business Kolding, we have organised presentations on entrepreneurship at Tønder Gymnasium and Munkevængets Skole in Kolding. Thank you for some great days and not least the good questions.

Including, among other things: "Does being an entrepreneur make you rich?"

... where we had to admit that it requires hard work and dedicationso we continue.

We were also visible at the education fair in Tønder, where we got to talk to many talented young people. Thank you for that experience.

Sponsorships

Once again this year, we have chosen to sponsor locally. Including 1st division handball in TM Tønder, where we launched the concept "grab a player jersey".

In addition, we also chose to enter 1st division basketball in BKV81, where I (Lau Christensen) also play. It's been a great pleasure to be able to give something back to a sport that has given me so many positive and wonderful experiences.

2020

In 2020, we will continue to keep our finger on the pulse of our profession. We work from our what, why and who:
